Arnold has also scored a variety of advertisements for companies including Drench Fitness, Girls on The Run, Augustine Academy, City of Light Church and many more. He originally started out his music career as a singer and indie artist. He has sung with the Youth Leadership Academy Boys Choir of Milwaukee which was declared by the Governor as Wisconsin's first official boys choir. He’s performed for the Vice President of the United States, he’s performed at the governors ball, sang with The Temptations, The Boys Choir of Harlem, opened for Dorinda Clark, performed on TBN Network and toured
the country as a solo indie artist. In the midst of that he also found time to play drums in a world renown New Orleans Jazz Band “The Crescent City Stompers”. He also played drums, guitar and sang in various punk bands. His extremely diverse musical background is what plays a huge part in what his film scores sound like today. He blends traditional classical styles with modern influences and experimental styles to create something that evokes emotion on a subliminal level. Using everything at his disposal from strings and brass to 808’s, vocals, sound design, guitars and complex rhythmic patterns he creates a unique style solely inspired by the story being told on the screen.
Music has been the driving force behind his life since he picked up a violin at 4 years old. To say music drives him would be an understatement. Music is the very essence in which he communicates his existence to the world. There would be no Arnold Cifax Jr without music. As for film score Arnold says “There are these moments in film where you’ve attached yourself so close to the protagonist that when they break, you break. When they cry, you cry. When they laugh, you laugh; and when they finally grow stronger and become the person they were always meant to be, so do you. Those are the moments I live to score. Those are the moments I live to create for others because I know how important it is to find yourself in a story that is being told.”
